2.1.14. Tolerance mode
The tolerance mode combo-box allows you to choose how gain is applied within the target tolerance zone.
- Dead Zone clamps gain to the target tolerance bounds. Within the zone, no additional correction is applied.
- LRA Scaling learns the source loudness range over a fixed internal learn window and uses it to scale gain corrections. In-range holds the current gain, out-of-range clamps to the target tolerance.
- Adaptive softly centers toward target loudness within the tolerance zone, scaled by program stability (lower LRA = more centering).
Adaptive and LRA Scaling both use a fixed internal learn window.
